Fiji, South Pacific & More

MMM New Zealand has a long history of sending short term teams into the South Pacific . MMM have had frequent teams every year since 1996 to Fiji and maintain a permanent centre there. MMM have also sent teams to Tonga, Vanuatu and Russia. New Zealanders have also joined MMM projects led by other MMM centres such as a team led by MMM Australia to India and teams led by MMM Hong Kong to China.

If you wish to know more about MMM overseas teams, or would like more information for your Churches Missions Team contact the MMM office.

Island Encounters Fiji Project, this project is postponed due to Coronavirus

Come and join a two week project to assist Island Encounters Fiji expansion. Island Encounters facilitates various short-term mission outreaches/encounters throughout the year, hosting short-term teams from universities and churches (we also host individuals throughout the year via internships, our Summer Outreach, or our Gap Semester). Team Mission Encounters focus on service and cross-cultural experiences as well as exposure to and training in missions.

The Pittmans are the founders and co-directors of Island Encounters Fiji. Ray and Laura first came to Fiji in 2001 and have been working in community development and student ministry in Fiji since that time. The Pittmans have a heart for the poor and lost, and a heart to equip missions-minded young people to go out into the world. They often have several missions interns staying with them, and enjoy opening their home to guests. They love people, photography, and stories.

This project is to build a new team accommodation block. First team will be preparing the concrete floor and starting the block work.

28th - 11th April $1700 approx

You could join the second team 11th - 25th April (School Holidays) to continue block work and preparing for the roof. $1900 approx

Come and be inspired! Price includes, flights, internal travel, accommodation, food, insurance and day out at a resort.
